Last night Lil Wayne made a life appearance, his first since being released from prison on Thursday. The Source has more:
TheSource.com was on the scene for the last stop at Drake's Light Dreams and Nightmares in Las Vegas, Nevada. Drizzy Drake put on an inspired performance for the sold out crowd at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel. The love for the recently liberated Lil' Wayne was apparent from the very beginning. However, after Drake and special guests Birdman, Tyga, and Lloyd all hit the stage; hope for a Lil' Wayne appearance seemed to fade on the Las Vegas crowd. However, after an intermission and another set for the ladies, Drizzy jumped into a performance of "Miss Me" where the crowd lost their collective minds. "It feels good to be back!" said Weezy once he caught a breath. "The hardest mofo that Martin Luther King died for to my right Drizzy, ain't nothing, nothing! NOTHING! like home!"
After Drake performed his final song of the night "Over," the gem of the Cash Money/Young Money crew brought out his entire OVO/YMCMB family and thanked them for helping him relaize all of his dreams on this tour.
